Brian P. Herbert, AIA, LEED® AP is President of Gallo Herbert Lebolo. He is responsible for overall project coordination and production within the office. Brian also monitors the progress of jurisdictional agency approvals and provides expert opinion, dispute resolution services and project consulting services.

Brian is a registered architect in the State of Florida. He completed his training in architecture at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, where he received his Bachelor of Architecture Professional degree in 1990. Prior to his employment at Gallo Architects & Development Consultants, he led the design and production department of Conjor Architectural Division where he completed numerous commercial and institutional projects. He also specialized in planning projects, site development, municipal grant applications and the government processing of ground- up developments.

As a consultant, Brian is able to perform quick and highly-focused assessments in the areas of building design and suitability, site analysis and feasibility, tenant planning and coordination, and financial analysis. He has a well-developed knowledge of planning guidelines, a keen sensitivity to the development marketplace and a working understanding of the physical design, technical requirements and financial ramifications. Brian also provides expert opinion and dispute resolution services in the areas of master planning, conformance to the Americans with Disabilities Act and site design issues.

Brian earned accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED® AP and has developed design guidelines for the firm relating to sustainable design and green architectural practices.

Emilio Lebolo III is Vice President of Gallo Herbert Lebolo. He is responsible for coordinating and managing commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial and institutional projects.

Prior to joining the firm, Emilio served as General Manager and Partner at Consultores Constructores Asociados in Barranquilla, Columbia where he was responsible as a registered architect for executing and delegating numerous assignments. He also provided expertise in feasibility studies, financial management and control, and designed and constructed roads, water tanks and other civil-works tasks for the Columbian Government.

Emilio earned a Bachelor’s and Master of Science in Architecture degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Emilio is a member of the Columbian Society of Architects, the Columbian Association of Engineer Contractors and the recipient of the XVI Bienal Columbiana de Arquitectura award.

William J. Gallo, AIA, LEED® AP is Chairman/CEO of Gallo Herbert Lebolo. He serves as client liaison and is responsible for all administration, operations and sales of the firm. Bill also coordinates government processing of site approvals and provides consulting services for dispute resolution and analysis. He is NCARB certified and registered in FL, NY, GA, MA, NJ, DC, DE, PA and SC.

Bill is unique in the design and construction business. His training includes architecture, construction and development economics. He began at the Pratt Institute in New York where he received his Bachelor of Architecture degree. He culminated his education with a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University in Cambridge Massachusetts where he focused on development economics. This rare combination of businessman and architect has made Bill extremely effective in his field.

In 1973 Bill operated his own architecture and construction management firm, with offices in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. During this time Bill specialized in healthcare, long term care design and adult environments. In 1985 a development subsidiary of Security Savings Bank, a publicly traded financial institution purchased his firm. While there, he served as Chief Operating Officer of the fixed asset management consulting company, responsible for overall operations. Bill later founded the Gallo Group, which evolved into Gallo Architects & Development Consultants, Inc. Today the company is known as Gallo Herbert Lebolo.

During his professional career, Bill has performed numerous noteworthy projects and received awards for design. Key Florida projects the firm has performed and received recognition for are, Graduate Dormitories at Nova Southeastern University, Davie, Florida, Department of Homeland Security Southeast Sector Headquarters, Pembroke Pines, Fountains of Miramar, Shopping Center, FAU Research Park, Deerfield Beach, Johnson & Wales University, North Miami, Master Plan, Nova Southeastern University Law Center and School of Psychology, FAU/Chartwells Dining Facilities and Gulf Reflections Community, Fort Myers. Additionally, Mr. Gallo has received recent recognition from the Construction Association of South Florida for his own home which won, “best overall residential design and construction”.

Community service is important to Mr. Gallo’s personal philosophy. Currently he serves on many local committees and organizations and has been published in numerous periodicals. He is Board Member and Past President of Historic Stranahan House, is a Member of the City of Lighthouse Point Planning & Zoning Board, former Vice Chair of the City of Deerfield Beach Housing Authority, Member of the Boca Raton Airport Aviation Advisory Board, and is a Member of the Advisory Board to the Nova Southeastern University Center for Psychological Studies. Additionally, he is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Construction Association of South Florida and the Cities of Deerfield Beach, Fort Myers and Fort Lauderdale Chambers of Commerce. He has also lectured locally to professional groups and has served as a guest critic at the Rhode Island School of Design and Spring Garden College where he served as faculty from 1974 through 1979.

Al Ramphal joined Gallo Herbert Lebolo as a business development consultant, specializing in health care and hospitality design, and manages development from the design stage through construction. Al is the primary point of contact with the client, the engineering team and the contractors. He is also reviews plans and specifications for the correctness, coordinating architectural and engineering drawings and other information, and oversight of the construction process until client acceptance of the project.

With over 40 years of experience, Al received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Pratt Institute School of Architecture. In 1987, he began specializing in Health Care design. Al is a registered architect (AR-0008584) in Florida, New York, Louisiana, Alabama and Tennessee, and is a certified State of Florida Threshold Inspector (inactive).

Prior to becoming a consultant to Gallo Herbert Lebolo, Al was a State Inspector for the Agency for Health Care Administration’s (AHCA) State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration Services, Plans and Construction Department in Orlando and Tallahassee, FL. He also worked as an in-house Project Manager for Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, FL; and as a Senior Project Manager, acting as an owner's representative for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Later, Al was the Associate Vice President for Jonathan Bailey Architects, a Dallas Texas firm, and managed the Health Care projects at the Orlando branch office. During this time he worked on many Health Care projects, including Indian River Medical Center additions and renovations; Winnie the Pooh Children’s Hospital in Orlando; and St. Pete General Hospital’s Health Central additions and renovations.

Al is a member of the American Institute of Architects and held a position as an AIA Board member, Director of Programs and also as the AIA Board member, Director Sarasota Alliance for Historic Preservation. He has taught at Columbia University Art Department and Pratt Institute in the Architecture Design Studio, and is fluent in German and Dutch, French, and some Spanish.

Teresa Gallo is the Executive Assistant to the Principals, and assists the accounting and human resources department. For the Principals, she collects data, generates reports and assists in routine office tasks. Teresa also assists the Financial Officer with accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Prior to becoming a full-time employee, Teresa gained key working experience while attending classes at the Art Institute of Miami & Ft. Lauderdale. She worked as a part-time administrative assistant for JWR Construction Services, Inc. and later at Gallo Herbert Lebolo. This learned knowledge of the industry has made her a multi-skilled employee.

Heather is the Financial Officer at Gallo Herbert Lebolo and offers over 23 years of experience to the company’s accounting and administration department. Heather oversees all aspects of the finance department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, human resources and payroll.

Prior to joining Gallo Herbert Lebolo in 2003, Heather worked in accounts payable and as a product manager for Travalco, and in the payroll department of Blockbuster Corporate Office.

Diana is responsible for all architectural design and is the director of the interior group at Gallo Herbert Lebolo. She is in charge of the overall project coordination, production, graphics and AutoCAD standards within the office. Diana is also the firm’s LEED® design development coordinator for exterior and interior building environments.

A registered architect in Colombia, Diana is currently working towards her Architectural Registration and an Interior Design License. Her training in architecture was completed at Fundación Universidad de America in Bogotá Colombia where she received her Bachelor of Architecture professional degree. Her training in interior design was completed at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where she received her Bachelors of Interior Design degree, Magna Cum Laude.

Diana’s diverse projects include major South Florida universities, signature corporate headquarters for regional businesses, large retail lifestyle centers, projects for the Department of Homeland Security and large-scale multifamily communities.

Diana is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and as of recent, is also a LEED® AP.

A recent graduate from Florida International University in Miami, FL, Jaime has progressed from a company intern to a project designer. He is responsible for developing the company’s CAD library, and is involved with project development in the areas of drafting and design.

Jaime began studying architecture at the University of St. Buenaventura in Cali, Colombia; and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture in 2009 at FIU.

As a project designer, Julio is responsible for the development of project design, and overall coordination of construction drawings in production and contract administration.

A registered architect in Colombia, South America, Julio completed his training at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. While there, one of his projects was featured in an exposition for the Goethe Institute in the Technical University of Berlin, Germany. He has also been published in Architectural Magazine ESCALA, for the international contest of ideas “in Homage to Le Corbusier”.

With over 18 years of experience, Julio has worked on projects in the fields of banking, retail, college facilities, residential, high-rise and hotels, and recreational and commercial projects. Before working at Gallo Herbert Lebolo, Julio worked as an architect in Bogota, Colombia and also as an Assistant Project Manager at a firm in Coral Gables, FL and an Intern at an Interior Design firm in Miami Beach, FL.

As a Project Manager at Gallo Herbert Lebolo, Manuel is responsible for overall project coordination and production of construction documents from schematic design.

Manuel earned a Bachelor’s of Architecture Degree from Universidad Central De Venezuela and has been a registered architect in Venezuela since 1993. His 16-years of experience include working in the Engineering Department at Dade International, Inc. in Miami, FL, and as a Project Manager for the Lang Architectural Group, Inc. and Randall Stofft Architects. His past work includes commercial, institutional, and numerous residential projects consisting of multi-family, single family and high-end custom homes.

Marco is a Project Designer at Gallo Herbert Lebolo and brings 21 years of experience to the firm. He is responsible for the coordination and production of a broad range of projects including residential, multi-family, retail, food service, healthcare and office buildings.

Before working at Gallo Herbert Lebolo in 2002, Marco gained experience working in Colombia and San Salvador. After earning a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Universidad del Valle’s College of Architecture in Cali, Colombia, he worked at Jaime Gutierrez Arquitects and Jamie Cardenas Arquitects. He received a first place award for originality in architecture for the State Civic Center and also received awards and honorable mentions in a National Architectural Contest for other projects. Marco also worked as the Design Department Director at Promotora Cafetera De Construcciones-Procon, LTDA in the 1990’s and later as an independent architect contractor before moving to the United States. In Florida, he worked for Boca Architects Corporation in Boca Raton.

Tom Mongello is a Project Architect at Gallo Herbert Lebolo and manages development from the design stage through construction. As a project manager, Tom is the primary point of contact with the client, the engineering team and the contractors. He is also responsible for the correctness of documents, coordination of architectural and engineering drawings and other information, and oversight of the construction process until client acceptance of the project. Tom has also been one of the primary designers and draftsman for all layouts and shared exterior design decisions under the Architect of Record on multiple projects with Gallo Herbert Lebolo.

With over 34 years of experience, Tom received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Queens College of the City, part of the University of New York. Later, he earned a Masters of Architecture from Columbia University. Tom is a registered Architect in New York and is currently in the process of obtaining a Florida license.

As an architect, Tom has worked on various impressive projects for noteworthy companies such as Welton Becket, Machinist Associates, Rockrose Development/Rockrose Construction, Interior Facilities Associates, Citibank, EF Hutton, Mancini-Duffy, Machinist & Gray Architects and Silvercup Studios. The projects range from working for a small firm in Manhattan designing apartments and loft residences, new and renovated homes, and small commercial projects, to being a design team member on large-scale, commercial development in Moscow, USSR. Tom has also been a project manager/construction manager on a multi-year renovation project that took an existing industrial building in New York and turning it into a series of film/television/commercial studios, and support space such as dressing rooms, office space and workshops on a fast tracked deadline of three months.

Tom also gives back to the community by working pro bono for his Alumni school in Brooklyn, New York. The Catholic boys’ high school works on an austerity budget and call on alumni in professional positions to consult on their behalf. Rudy Giuliani, another alumnus, is also ‘on call’.

Zulay Marti is a Project Architect at Gallo Herbert Lebolo. She executes all phases of design, including site development, schematic design, design development, construction documents and contract administration. She also is involved with clients and the local building departments; team and consultant coordination; and collaborates in the coordination and gathering of documents for LEED® certified projects. At Gallo Herbert Lebolo, she concentrates mainly on the development of mid-size commercial and institutional projects.

Prior to joining the Gallo Herbert Lebolo team, Zulay had a successful career in Education. She retained a Master of Arts from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and completed her educational training at a Montessori School. The hands-on experience became an extraordinary tool with her involvement in the design of a multi-million dollar Montessori campus located in Davie, Florida. This past experience brings a unique quality to her architectural profession.

Zulay completed her training in architecture at Florida Atlantic University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where she received her Bachelor of Architecture Degree in 2003 with honors. She is a registered architect in Florida.
