This is a new $64,000,000 residence facility at the University of South Florida. The housing facilities for students have gone multi-story with this 7-Story, 353,518 SF facility with a center corridor between 2 buildings, and 540 dormitory rooms.
The facility will have its own air cooled chilled water plant and boilers for a full 4-pipe system. The distribution includes dual path air handlers for the first floor common space, 29- outside air units for pre-conditioning outside air, and 540 fan coils for the rooms all serviceable from the corridors, so access does not interrupt the student. A direct digital control system connects the building systems and the remote chillers to the campus front end.
