BCH Mechanical, Inc. contracted with Sempra Energy Solutions of Texas to construct the new Central Energy Plant and Distribution Piping for St. Anthony’s Hospital. We were selected by Sempra Energy Solutions to provide a total package of services on this project. In an effort to provide Sempra Energy Solutions the comfort level they were pursuing, BCH Mechanical, Inc. performed all work on the project, including site work, structural concrete, masonry, fuel oil, and the HVAC/Plumbing package.
We worked closely with Sempra, on the complex scheduling and performance of this unique project. We converted the lower level of the existing parking garage into a central energy plant. It was a challenge dewatering the below ground area and construct footers, slab and walls. Structural elements within the new plant were fabricated in our fabrication shop, galvanized and then sent to the site for installation.
This project is an example of the diversity of BCH Mechanical and our employee’s abilities.
