Before joining THERMAL CONCEPTS as Controller in 2001, worked in same capacity for 10 years at Air Management Systems, Inc. in Miami. Before that worked for Thoro System Products (Miami-based Division of Beatrice Foods Co.) for 17 years, starting as staff accountant and leaving as Controller
Current responsibilities include all aspects of Finance including Financial Reporting and Planning, Cash Receipts and Disbursements, Banking, Credit, liaison with CPA, reporting directly to ownership. |
Jesse Maurer's Bio
Jesse started Thermal Concepts with his brother Larry in 1983 at the age of 22. He has been responsible for the business development and financial management side of the organization. Jesse has been actively involved in the Associated Builders and Contractors for over 15 years. He began serving on ABC’s Board of Directors starting in 1997 and was Chairman of the Board in 2001. He holds a Mechanical Contractors license. |

Lawrence Maurer's Bio
As founder, President and CEO of Thermal Concepts, Larry brings a broad base of experience in all the disciplines of the HVAC and Mechanical fields. Starting as an apprentice sheetmetal worker in 1978 for a contractor in Miami, Larry was elevated to a Forman's position during his third year. He was responsible for crews in HVAC, piping, and sheetmetal trades. In 1983 Larry started Thermal Concepts and presently overseas the company's engineering and technical coordination of critical path projects. His technical knowledge grew during his many years of training and on the job experience. He currently holds a Class A Unlimited Air-Conditioning and Sheet Metal Licenses, while continuing with postgraduate studies pertinent to the Mechanical Disciplines and Total Quality Management. |

Larry Hill's Bio
Larry has 48 years experience in the Mechanical Contracting business. He started in his father's company doing payroll when he was 12. At age 14 he was taking night courses at the local community college for his Apprenticeship Training in Plumbing and Pipefitting. He earned an Associate Degree in HVAC Technology from Fayetteville Technical Institute and has been involved in every aspect and at every level of the contracting business. "It's real simple. How can you possibly work people if you don't know their job?" That attitude has worked well for Larry here at Thermal Concepts as he started here three years ago and was determined to understand our estimating system. Not only does he understand it, he has made numerous upgrades to the system.

Cindy Sikora's Bio
Cindy has been with Thermal Concepts since 2007 holding the dual positions of Safety and Warranty Director. She is responsible for all in-house training and working in the field with Thermal's employees. Her Warranty responsibilities include cataloging projects on completion and coordinating any activities should issues arise in the future with 558 or 720 statutes. Cindy’s professional trainings include: OSHA 500, MSHA Part 48 Instructor, Hilti Instructor, Intermediate Level Maintenance of Traffic Instructor, CPR and First Aid Instructor, Smith Systems Instructor as well as having her PSMA (Professional Construction Safety Management Accreditation). |
Dale Schrack's Bio
Dale has been with Thermal Concepts since 2000 holding the position of Project Manager until 2008 when he became the Insulation Division Manager. Dale has 34 years HVAC experience and holds a State of Florida Class "A" Contractors license.

Dominick Famularo has 18 years experience in the HVAC industry. He owned and operated his own sheetmetal business in New York for 10 years, Dominick has extensive experience in estimating, drafting,fabricating and installation. In 2002, Dominick started working for Thermal Concepts as the Custom Fabrication Manager, he is responsible for designing and manufacturing speciality steel items using stainless steel, aluminium, copper, galvanize, metals for the HVAC industry. |
Doug Daniels's Bio
Doug Daniels has been working in the HVAC industry for 33 years now. He has been with Thermal Concepts for over 15 years, as the Division Manager of the Retrofit Department. His knowledge includes cooling tower replacement, chillers, fan walls, major piping projects and a variety of different size unit replacements.

As the Sheet Metal Division Manager, he handles purchasing, fabricating, installation and manpower requirements. James has thirty years experience in the mechanical construction industry. Project sectors have encompassed the industrial, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, high-rise residential and military arenas. Before joining Thermal Concepts as Construction Vice president of Operations in 2005, He worked for Lee Company a design build HVAC and Plumbing contractor based in Current responsibilities include all aspects of Construction including P&L responsibility for all construction departments.

Neil Caporale's Bio
Neil has been with Thermal Concepts since 2002, he has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Before joining Thermal Concepts as the Controls Division Manager he was employed as a Project Engineer for Siemens Building Technologies in Maryland, where he learned all aspects of the controls business from sequences of operation, trouble shooting, and estimation. His day to day responsibilities at Thermal Concepts include project management, scheduling, estimating and technical assistance for the field. Neil believes everyone can improve their knowledge and quality of work with dedication: so he helps to provide after hours in house training for all the controls technicians. |
Rick Maurer's Bio
Rick is a long time resident of South Florida. Having been in business for himself for many years, he brings to Thermal over forty years of mechanical, technical, sales and management experience. Rick has been with Thermal Concepts since 2003. He started with us handling our warranty and startup departments and has held the position of General Manager for the past five years, managing our infrastructure, divisional integration, fleet vehicles, and communications. He now brings his expertise to the Service Department as Division Manager, responsible for overseeing our Service Division and maintaining close relationships with our customers. |
