A:

$0 - There is no registration fee.

Q: What is the benefit of registering?
A:

Registered users have access to more features, such as the ability to create a company Qual-Port™, link to other Qual-Ports™, manage a live file of Qual-Ports™, utilize the email tools, and much more.

Q: What is a Qual-Port™?
A:

Short for "Qualifications Portal" - a Qual-Port™ is a comprehensive web tool designed to showcase a company's current qualifications, relationships, and industry credibility; user-produced and maintained in standardized templates that are developed to comply with their industry's unique buying criteria (in our case the commercial construction industry).

Q: How much does it cost to have a Qual-Port™ on JobSite123®?
A:

$0 - There is no cost to build or maintain your Qual-Port™.

Q: Can we have more than one Qual-Port™?
A:

Yes - some companies will have more than one Qual-Port™ in our search engine.  There are 2 primary reasons you may require multiple Qual-Ports™.

Multiple Office Locations

If your company has multiple office locations in different geographical markets - we highly recommend that you create and maintain a unique Qual-Port™ for each office location. You will need to have each office location establish a new registered user to create and maintain their own respective Qual-Ports™. There are 2 very important reasons:

  1. When you create a Qual-Port™ for one of your office locations, you will designate the geographic service area for that specific office location. This will determine which search result pages that particular Qual-Port™ will appear in. The same will be true for your other office locations - ensuring that no matter what state / county our users are searching in, the nearest and most appropriate office location will be displayed for your company.
  2. Virtually all of your Qual-Port™ information will be unique to each of your office locations. Your contact information will be specific to that location, as will your personnel, project history, awards, affiliations, licenses, etc. NOTE: On each of your individual Qual-Ports™, you will be able to reference that your company has additional office locations on the Geographic Service Area template.

Multiple Service Provider Types

If your company provides products and services that fall into more than one of our Service Provider Types - and you would like to be found in our search engine under more than one of your Service Provider Types for your designated CSI codes and geography - then we recommend you create and maintain multiple Qual-Ports™. If that is NOT important to you, then simply select the Service Provider Type that best describes the way you market yourself in the construction community.

Q: We are creating 3 different Qual-Ports™ in JobSite123® - one for each of our office locations in the Midwest. Can our company name be consistent for each Qual-Port™?
A:

Yes - your company name may remain consistent for all of your Qual-Ports™.  The distinction will occur in the vanity or "friendly" URL name that you select when you create your Qual-Ports™ for each office location.  We recommend you create them using the following format:

http://jobsite123.com/companyname-chicago
http://jobsite123.com/companyname-detroit
http://jobsite123.com/companyname-cinncinatti

Keep in mind - each of your Qual-Ports™ will be created and maintained by its own unique registered user.

Q: We are creating 2 different Qual-Ports™ because our products and services relate to more than one Service Provider Type.  Can our company name be consistent for each Qual-Port™?
A:

Yes - your company name may remain consistent for all of your Qual-Ports™.  The distinction will occur in the vanity or "friendly" URL name that you select when you create your Qual-Ports™ for each Service Provider Type.  We recommend you create them using the following format:

http://jobsite123.com/companyname-manufacturer
http://jobsite123.com/companyname-materialsupplier

Q: We are a general contractor that specializes in hospital construction. We self-perform concrete and carpentry work on our own projects (but not for other GC's or project owners). What service provider type should we select for our Qual-Port™?
A:

You should select "general contractor" because that is your primary service. If you did proactively market your concrete and carpentry services to other parties, you could create a second Qual-Port™ for your company as a "specialty contractor" and maintain both independently in our search engine.

Q: Our company manufactures and installs a variety of signs for the commercial construction industry. What service provider type should we select for our Qual-Port™?
A:

Because you provide sign installation services you should select "specialty contractor". If you would also like to proactively market your company as a manufacturer of signage, then we recommend you create a second Qual-Port™ as a "manufacturer" and maintain both independently in our search engine.

Q: We are a large scale general contractor headquartered in San Francisco. We have regional offices in Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Nashville and Boston.  Should we create 6 individual Qual-Ports™, one for each office location?
A:

Yes - designate someone from each of your office locations to (1) become a registered user and (2) create and maintain their own Qual-Port™ on JobSite123®.  There are 2 very important reasons.

  1. When you create a Qual-Port™ for one of your office locations (say San Francisco), you will designate the geographic service area for your San Francisco office location.  This will determine which search results your San Francisco office location will appear in.   The same will be true for your 5 other office locations - ensuring that no matter what state and county our users are searching in, the nearest and most appropriate office location will be displayed for your company.
  2. Virtually all of the Qual-Port™ information will be unique to each office location.  Your contact information will be specific to that location, as will your personnel, project history, awards, affiliations, licenses, etc.  NOTE:  On each of your individual Qual-Ports™, you will be able to reference that your company has additional office locations on the Geographic Service Area template.
Q: When my Qual-Port™ is displayed in a search result - what position will it be in?
A:

It will automatically land after premium and featured listings in alphabetical order by your company name.

Q: Is it possible to have a higher search result position?
A:

Yes. Depending upon availability, you may purchase a Page 1 premium search result position for your designated CSI Codes and U.S. Counties. Click here for more information.

Q: Will my Qual-Port™ be automatically found in your search engine?
A:

Yes.  It will be found in all search results that match the CSI Codes you selected in your Scope of Services and the U.S. Counties you selected in your Geographic Services Area.

Q: Do I have to fill out all of the information found in the Qual-Port™ templates?
A:

No, but there is a minimal amount of information required in the Start-Up Wizard in order for your Qual-Port™ to appear properly in our search engine.  Once you have completed the Start-Up Wizard, you can then log back into JobSite123® at any time to add/edit your Qual-Port™.

Q: My company already has a website.  How is a Qual-Port™ different from my website?
A:

There are many distinctions.  Here are 3 of the most important ones:

#1 - The content of our Qual-Ports™ is far more comprehensive than most company websites.

#2 - Qual-Ports™ are easily updated in seconds because the formatting is already done for you.

#3 - Unless your website is programmed to prominently appear in traditional search engines, your clients and prospects must know your website address in order to find your company.  JobSite123® drives traffic to your Qual-Port by your CSI Codes, U.S. Counties serviced and all of your industry connections.

Q: How is JobSite123® different from other search engines or networking sites?
